Featuring formerly owned pieces by Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, and Egypt’s Queen Nazli and Princess Fawzia, an exhibition by the French luxury jewelry company Van Cleef & Arpels is taking place in the National Museum of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.

The exhibition Van Cleef & Arpels: Time, Nature, Love, which will be on display until March, highlights the bespoke craftsmanship, avant-garde designs, and artistry that have distinguished the history of the French luxury Maison.

About 280 pieces of jewelry, watches and valuable objects made since Maison’s foundation in 1906 are displayed in this exhibition. Alba Cappellieri, a professor of jewelry design at Milan Polytechnic University and the head of the Milano Fashion Institute, has chosen these unique works of art. The collection’s three sections are organized thematically around the concepts of time, nature, and love.

Over 90 archival documents, sketches, and gouache designs are on show, in addition to fine jewelry.

Along with a broad selection of classic pieces, the exhibition includes talks from national and international speakers, workshops for adults and children, and other engaging educational activities.
