Iconic European electronic dance festival Tomorrowland is bringing a new holiday desert destination to Dubai. Nestled between dunes, Terra Solis, inspired by constellations, will be an escape for people around the world with glamping tents, day-to-night parties and exclusive events. From September, guests will be able to check into three distinct accommodations – the Polaris tents, Orion pool lodges, and Perseid lodges – all named after celestial objects.
Tomorrowland, which is organized every summer in Belgium, has chosen Dubai as the destination for the year-long party. Spread over 371,000 square meters, Terra Solis will blend entertainment and vibrant music with global cuisines. Visitors will be able to dance in the dunes to DJ sets and stargaze at night during the first season between September and June 2023. Visitors staying at Orion lodges will have their private pools, cabanas, and terraces.
Exclusive events at the desert destination will provide a glimpse of the Tomorrowland experience. Located in Dubai Heritage Vision, 30 minutes away from Dubai Airport, Terra Solis will also have the Sala Shisha lounge.
Other emerging desert destinations in the Middle East include Al Ula in Saudi Arabia, where tourists can witness 27,000 archaeological marvels in a lesser-known corner of the kingdom.
