Are you a fan of Megatron and Optimus Prime? Transformers are coming to Saudi Arabia. Thanks to an agreement between Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, and Hasbro, the Transformers theme park will be the newest entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia.

SEVEN also partnered with AOA, an immersive experience design and production firm, to develop the Transformers attractions.

Spread over 10,000 square meters, the first Transformers themed park will open at SEVEN’s entertainment destination at Al Hamra, Riyadh. Following this, two additional attractions will also be set up to open at SEVEN’s other destinations.

Featuring thrilling rides and enchanting environments, guests can experience branded retail, such as specially developed merchandise and themed food and beverage venues, bringing the world of Autobots and Decepticons.

Earlier, the two parties earlier announced an agreement to launch the world’s first PLAY-DOH attractions, set to open at various locations across Saudi.

SEVEN is investing more than $13 million to build 21 entertainment destinations that will be located in 14 cities across the country: Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Damman, Khobar, Al Ahsa, Madinah, Yanbu, Abha, Jizan, Buraidah, and Tabuk.
