Saudi Arabia is gearing up for the return of Money20/20 Middle East, with the fintech event set to bring regulators, investors, financial institutions, startups, and technology executives to Riyadh from September 14 to 16.

Taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, this year’s edition is expected to draw more than 38,000 attendees, 350 exhibiting brands, over 350 speakers, more than 600 investors, and 150 startups.

Money20/20 Middle East is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA), and Insurance Authority (IA), and co-organized by Tahaluf and Fintech Saudi. This year’s edition will focus on the technologies, regulations, investment trends, and partnerships shaping the next phase of financial services.

The event returns as Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing fintech markets, with Riyadh increasingly serving as a meeting point for the global financial technology ecosystem.

Among the speakers announced so far are Ryan Rugg, Global Head of Digital Assets TTS at Citi; Mostapha Tahiri, Chief Operating Officer at State Street; Tony Ashraf, Managing Director at BlackRock; Joy Adams, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Assets Transformation, Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank; and Hosam Arab, co-founder and CEO of Tabby.

The program will center on six areas shaping the financial sector: The Future Financial Architecture, Trust by Design, Autonomous Finance, Empowered Finance, The Next Era of Payments, and The Future of Capital.

Beyond keynote discussions, the three-day program will feature executive forums and closed-door sessions through platforms including The Executive Summit, NextGen Money, The Bridge, The Capital Stage, The Boardroom, Off The Record, and MoneyPot.

“Money20/20 Middle East has redefined what a fintech event can achieve. This is where regulators, financial institutions, investors and innovators come together to build partnerships and shape the future of financial services,” said Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf.

She added: “As fintech momentum continues to build, Riyadh has become a key meeting point for the global fintech community, creating the connections and conversations that will define the next chapter of finance.”

Visa and Tamara will return as founding partners for the 2026 edition, while BARQ, ELM, Tiqmo, and Arab National Bank have been named strategic sponsors. Foodics, Hakbah, Gulf International Bank, Safqah Capital, and Al Rajhi Takaful are participating as platinum sponsors.

Money20/20 also hosts events in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, and Bangkok. Its Middle East edition was recognized as Best International Show,  Middle East at the AEO Excellence Awards in 2025.
